This is the fullview of the River City Ransom sculpture, in which the protagonist, Alex, I believe, is dishing it out to Slick, the game's antagonist. They battle atop a mountain plateau wherein the game's famous utterance "BARF!" is etched in the rockface.

Every time I see this sculpture, I always wonder how in the hell did he manage to keep Alex up in the air like that? The only connection he's really making to the rest of the sculpture is his foot to Slick's face, but it seems as though he would just break off due to his own weight or it would tip over. Tell me...how did you do it? :+fav:

Wow! Sorry about the wait on a reply! There's not much mystery in this one, the point of contact is actually a little bigger than it looks (though not by much) inside the sculpture is a long city chicken stick which is like a 1/8" dowel rod. It's thick enough to keep Alex from breaking off, and the base is significantly heavier than the figures, so he doesn't pose a balancing problem. But yeah, I'm kind of with you on it... How's he stay up like that? I'm glad it all worked out in the end though!

ANSWER TO FAQ 1: I made these sculptures

ANSWER TO FAQ 2: yeah, really

ANSWER TO FAQ 3: It's entirely possible, but I don't think he'll ever make anything as good as Sign O' the Times again.

Freakin' awesome!
Just been playing some River City with a friend of mine.
We pretty much wail on the Dragon Twins, then run back and spend the cash in Merlin's store.

Either way, damn legendary game and an awesome sculpture to go with it! :D

That's so cool! Would love to get something like that, stumbled across this searching for Rivercity ransom references once more :P

My new game is heavily inspired by RCR, it's coming along nicely and I can't wait to start showing it off soon.

Nice work, jealous!
